Rapid Chest Pain Assessment

A clear answer in days, not weeks.

If you've had chest pain, a normal ECG and normal blood tests are reassuring — but they don't rule out narrowing in the arteries that supply the heart. That's why you may have been advised to see your GP and wait for a routine cardiology referral. It's the correct next step, but it can take weeks, and it can leave you without a definitive answer in the meantime.

If you'd rather not wait in that uncertainty, WellHeart offers direct specialist assessment. A consultant cardiologist reviews your history in person and, where it's warranted, you have CT coronary angiography — a detailed scan of the heart's arteries — reported by our consultant cardiac radiologist. You leave with a diagnosis and a clear management plan, usually within a few days.

This service is for people who have already been assessed and told they are not in immediate danger.

If your chest pain is severe, new, or getting worse, this is an emergency — call 999.
